Jump Jousts 1 is a fighting game based on Teen Titans Go! in which the Titans compete for the title of the “Jumpiest Jumping Jouster of All Time” and a lifetime supply of a snack of their choice. There is no long story campaign. Instead, the premise leads directly into a series of one-on-one battles where characters jump around compact arenas, attack opponents, and reduce their health bars to win rounds.

Characters and Tournament Battles

At the beginning, players can choose Robin, Starfire, Raven, Cyborg, or Beast Boy. In single-player mode, the selected fighter faces a sequence of five opponents. Each battle consists of three rounds, and winning two rounds is required to continue. If the player loses the match, that battle must be attempted again. Every character has their own attacks and special ability, so changing fighters also changes how the same opponents are approached.

Unlocking More Fighters

Completing the battle sequence with the starting characters unlocks additional members of the roster. The full selection contains ten playable fighters:

·         Robin unlocks Gizmo;

·         Starfire unlocks Jinx;

·         Raven unlocks Mammoth;

·         Cyborg unlocks Pain Bot;

·         Beast Boy unlocks Terra.

Jump Jousts 1 also includes a two-player mode for local matches and a Survival mode that becomes available after all characters have been unlocked. Two-player battles use the same basic fighting system but replace the computer-controlled opponent with another person. Survival provides a longer challenge once the main roster progression has been completed.

Controls and How to Play

The controls are deliberately simple. The left and right arrow keys move the fighter, A performs a normal attack, and S activates the special power when it is available. Battles are based heavily on jumping into range, attacking at the correct moment, and moving away before the opponent can respond. Combining movement with attacks can make hits more effective, while the special move provides a stronger option when its meter is ready. There are no equipment upgrades, experience levels, or skill trees, so progression comes from defeating the five opponents, unlocking the additional characters, and learning how each fighter behaves in one-on-one combat.
