Bloxd.io is a multiplayer block-based game that combines building, survival, parkour, combat, and social minigames. It does not have one continuous story or a single campaign to complete. Instead, players choose from separate game modes with different rules and objectives. The current selection includes Survival, Peaceful, Creative, One Block, Bedwars, Skywars, Cube Warfare, Hide and Seek, Murder Mystery, Bloxd Hop, and many other modes.

Building, Survival, and Exploration

Sandbox modes focus on collecting blocks, constructing structures, and exploring voxel environments. Survival adds resource gathering and equipment management, while Peaceful provides a less combat-focused version of the sandbox experience. Creative is designed primarily for building, giving players more freedom to create structures. One Block begins on a small floating area where the central block is repeatedly mined for resources, allowing the island to expand through different phases.

Parkour and Competitive Modes

Other modes replace open-ended building with specific objectives. Bloxd Hop and Evil Tower focus on parkour, requiring players to jump between blocks and reach the end of a course. Bedwars involves protecting your own bed while gathering resources and attacking opposing teams, while Skywars and Cube Warfare add direct player-versus-player combat. DoodleCube instead gives players a building theme and lets participants create structures before voting on the results.

Depending on the selected mode, players may need to:

·         mine and place blocks;

·         collect resources and craft items;

·         complete parkour courses;

·         fight other players;

·         protect team objectives;

·         build structures based on a given theme.

Basic movement uses WASD, Space to jump, and Shift or a double-tap of W to sprint. Players can crouch with C, Z, or Caps Lock. In modes that allow block interaction, the mouse is used to break, place, or interact with objects, while number keys switch between available items.

Different Objectives in Every Mode

Bloxd.io does not use one fixed sequence of levels because progression depends on the chosen activity. A parkour match may end when the course is completed, while a Bedwars game continues until competing teams lose their protected beds and players. Sandbox modes can support much longer sessions focused on construction and resources. Because the rules change between modes, learning movement and block interaction provides the foundation, while each activity adds its own goals, hazards, and strategies.
